OUR MISSION IS TO IDENTIFY, MITIGATE AND TRANSFER RISK FOR THOSE SERVING AS TRUSTEE SO THEY CAN ENJOY THE UPSIDE OF THEIR ROLE, FOCUS ON THE TASK AT HAND AND AVOID DETRIMENTAL LOSS OF PERSONAL ASSETS. WITH NOMADX, WEALTH OWNERS CAN PROTECT THEIR BENEFICIARIES AND SUCCESSFULLY ATTRACT THE PEOPLE THEY WANT TO OVERSEE THE TRANSFER OF THEIR WEALTH.
In the mid-1980s, hostile takeovers and leveraged buyouts resulted in increased litigation between shareholders and boards of directors. This litigation tested and clarified the roles of directors and their responsibilities to shareholders. Today, most boards receive regular training and are careful to follow established procedures so that they can make better decisions in a rapidly changing legal environment. These reforms have resulted in more transparent and better run organizations. Trustees today are facing similar challenges. The rules and laws governing trustees and other fiduciaries are complex and often contradictory. Many fiduciaries, especially individuals and professional advisors who frequently serve in these roles, as well as most beneficiaries, do not understand these rules. In a time of increased litigation, this situation significantly increases the risks for fiduciaries; their personal assets are on the line.
With changing fiduciary responsibilities and personal liability, it’s essential to have the right processes and procedures in place, as well as the knowledge that can reduce the trustee’s or fiduciary’s risk. Nomadx Solutions understands these risks and has unique expertise to work with individuals, professional trustees, trust companies, law firms, CPAs and small to mid-cap businesses to implement a consulting solution that minimizes the risk and insurance programs that transfer risk that can’t be mitigated through action.
